When's the last time you lied to your doctor?

Do you feel rushed?  Does anyone listen to you? 

Lab work is like a bad report card—a problem that needs to be fixed.

Do you worry what they will say or prescribe?  Are you allowed to disagree? 

It's typical for patients to feel unsupported and unheard by their medical providers.  Today, I want to talk about why this dynamic is so common and bring awareness to it.  When we become aware of it, we can begin to question it and then change it.

Cucumber Kimchi Recipe
Servings: 4-6
2 English Cucumbers (use regular if that's easier/cheaper)
3-4 Green onions, chopped with white parts included
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
1 tsp toasted sesame seeds, crushed
1 tsp sesame oil
1-2 tsp Korean red pepper flakes (to taste for how spicy you like; can buy on Amazon)
1-2 tsp salt
1-2 tsp sugar
2 tbsp rice vinegar

Mix all ingredients in a bowl and enjoy!
